Meet the team at LBX Therapy Center.
Our team
Lisa B. Xantus, LPC
Welcome to LBX Therapy Center, where therapy is focused on helping you create meaningful, lasting change in how you feel, relate, and connect. I’m Lisa B. Xantus, LPC, an EMDR Certified Therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals and couples through trauma, relationship challenges, and intimacy concerns. My approach is both direct and compassionate, meeting you where you are while helping you move beyond patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
Many of the clients I work with are navigating challenges with intimacy and connection. This can show up as emotional distance, communication breakdowns, trust issues, desire differences, or difficulty feeling safe being vulnerable. Whether you are in a relationship or working through these concerns individually, therapy provides a space to better understand the patterns that are impacting your ability to connect. I have advanced training in intimacy and relationship concerns and am currently pursuing certification through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists, integrating evidence-based approaches that support deeper, more secure, and more fulfilling relationships.
At the same time, many struggles with connection and intimacy are rooted in unresolved experiences. As an EMDR Certified Therapist, I help clients process trauma, anxiety, and distressing life events so they no longer feel overwhelming or continue to shape your present in unhelpful ways. Rather than only managing symptoms, this work focuses on addressing the underlying causes so real healing can take place. As those experiences are processed, clients often find improvements not only in their emotional well-being, but also in how they relate to others and experience connection.
My work is structured and goal-oriented while still being responsive to your individual needs. Together, we identify what is beneath the surface, improve communication, rebuild trust where needed, and strengthen both emotional and physical connection. Clients often begin therapy feeling stuck or disconnected and leave with greater clarity, healthier relational patterns, and the ability to experience meaningful, lasting change.
Reaching out for therapy can feel difficult, especially when you’re unsure where to begin. You don’t have to navigate this alone. If you’re ready to work through trauma, improve your relationships, or deepen your sense of connection, I invite you to take that next step toward healing and growth.

Patty McNeely, LPC
“…the best way out is always through,” – Robert Frost Are you hurting? Do you need someone to listen, hold space for you, and help you organize your emotions and thoughts? The fact that you are researching providers is a huge step in getting the help you need. It takes a lot of courage to ask for and allow others to help us. My goal as a therapist has always been to help my clients bridge their difficult emotions, challenges, and life’s bumps in the road in order to process events and find their inner strengths to carry on and be successful.
I have been an Elementary Professional School Counselor since 2005. I have worked with many students, families, teachers and community agencies. I have served on the PWCS Critical incident team as a Counselor for many unfortunate school and community tragedies. I have a BFA in Art Therapy and Yoga YTT 200 hours, so I use many healing modalities.

Kenia Larios, Resident LPC
Hi, I’m Kenia, and I’m a Resident in Counseling with LBX Therapy Center. As a proud Salvadoran and fluent Spanish speaker, I bring my cultural background with me in every session. My heart is in helping others navigate life’s struggles—whether that’s managing difficult emotions, facing challenges, or just needing someone to truly listen. I believe that no one should have to face these moments alone, and that’s exactly what I’m here for; to offer you the support and care you deserve.
Being a school counselor has played a big role in my journey toward becoming a therapist. I’ve had the privilege of supporting students and working with families, and through that, I’ve seen just how much it means to have someone who truly sees you and wants the best for you. That experience deepened my passion for helping others beyond the school setting, leading me to take this next step in counseling so I can continue to walk alongside people in their healing and growth.
I know that healing takes time, and I want you to know that you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to walk with you, offering compassion, perspective, and a safe space to grow. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, but even the smallest steps toward change are meaningful. You already have so much strength within you, and I’m here to help you recognize it. Together, we’ll work toward what matters most to you, and I look forward to witnessing your growth and resilience along the way.
